How long have you been a farmer, and since when in organic?
I am the third generation, in the family, we have been organic since 2009 and work in a Mediterranean shelter. For us who says organic market gardening, says, method, cleaning, thinning of fruits and vegetables, and compliance with the specifications.
Why did you choose this type of culture?
I chose market gardening for all the diversity of products to cultivate, which would not be the case in arboriculture or livestock farming, and I love working outdoors in a calm environment, which suits me well.
Why did you choose organic farming?
I find it important to work while preserving the soils that feed us.
How do you manage to have “beautiful” fruits and vegetables?
We carry out trials of new varieties, we retain the best, to always have good and beautiful fruits or vegetables.
A secret to reveal to us? A tip?
A secret, a trick, no, but carefully observe the cultures, to detect a possible problem before it is too late…

What are the strengths of the COOP?
The Coop has a very good sales team, it also provides us with technical monitoring for production, and also its geographical location which makes it a huge plus (- 10 km from the farm)
