How long have you been harvesting fruit?
We have been farmers from father to son for several generations. Maybe the next generation will take over, but they’re still young there. And we have been organic since 2010.
Why arboriculture?
In 1985, the family business abandoned viticulture and we decided at the time to restructure in clementines and kiwis, the flagship speculation of the time.
What do you like about this job?
The pleasure of creating, of living in the open air and of being in control of my time and my organization. With organic, in addition, the pleasure of contributing to respect for the environment and the consumer – and also for my personal health.
What is your working method?
Be present in your orchard, be vigilant to the evolution of trees according to the seasons. It is also important to update your knowledge regularly. And I respect what the technicians I consult tell me. And outside of work, very important, I spend time with my family…
What does the Coop represent for you?
An organic and fair trade company. So a logical continuity with my commitments.
