How do you work?

I grow tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers. I have been in bio since 1999. I grow in double walls, so with increased productivity and in a Mediterranean shelter (greenhouse). Planting to have beautiful vegetables is very difficult.

Why did you choose organic farming?

In 1999, when I took over part of my father’s farm, conventional farming was going very badly. I wanted to try another way. In this job, I like the technicality in the crops. At that time, organic outlets were limited, so I wanted to join the Coop and she accepted. I particularly appreciate the “averaged” prices for all the producers, the strategy and the mutual aid. I was thus able to concentrate on the production.

Besides your job, do you have a hobby?

In the summer, no, I work from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. In winter, yes, video games and good movies.
