Tell us about your business, what do you like about it?
I grow apples, cherries, zucchini, squash, cucumbers and tomatoes. The two aspects that I appreciate the most are the outdoors and the technical nature of the operation.
How long and why have you been organic? Do you have a producer secret, a tip?
Since 2002. I work in the open field, in arboriculture and in Mediterranean shelter, these are crops adapted to my land. Participating in the development of biodiversity, doing without chemical treatment and working the soil are motivations for me. In organic, the presence in the crops determines the quality of the harvests. It’s a story of passion. No, I am a wall. A secret remains a secret…
How do you envision your future?
It’s already been two generations (and four if I take into account our work which started in Algeria) that we have been exploiting fruits and vegetables, and my children could very well take over my activity.
Why did you trust the COOP?
Its history, competitiveness, its group spirit, positive elements in my opinion. If I had to summarize: alone we go faster, together we go further.
