When did you go organic and how do you work?
Since 1989. I work in a double wall (chapel) and in a Mediterranean shelter (greenhouse), also in open field cultivation. I apply the fundamentals: observation, common sense pays off – listening to your plants and the soil – while being open to new production techniques. I devote a lot of time and energy to it. I am the second generation operator of this domain.
What do you like in your job?
I chose organic, because it is necessary to respect the land and the people who work there. And to bring quality products to consumers. I particularly like in my job the diversity of tasks, permanent innovation, finding new production techniques, new cultures, the obligation to adapt, and of course contact with nature.
Why did you choose to trust the Coop?
I see Coop Uni-Vert as an extension of our operation. Having a commercial tool and a packaging tool common to other producers optimizes costs and allows you to devote yourself fully to your operation. I therefore appreciate the complementarity between producers, the solidarity and the transparency.
